History Of Inflection Design
Inflection Design incorporated in 1999, and has been focused on developing information systems products, web applications, business process integration, and business process analysis. Our Business initiated sales, support, and development of CyberLock products in August 2005.
videxlogo2.gifInflection Design is the first reseller of Videx products to approach the product line from the information systems perspective.
When Inflection Design engaged with Videx and began this relationship, our customer focused, service oriented data integration business model rapidly accelerated. Our success with sales and our focus on systems integration is supported and encouraged by Videx. In our first week with Videx we purchased the cyberserveit1.0.jpgCyberAudit-Web (CAW) system and our first CAW server. Our sales success, business model, and passion for the CyberLock solution caught the attention of Videx leadership. With our open-source expertise, depth in IT systems, software engineering team, and CAW Application Service Provider position, we became an overnight Videx value added channel partner.

In the 6 years that Videx has had CyberLocks on the market, they have established resellers and partner organizations across the United States and many other countries. Since Videx is an Oregon corporation they were able to provide direct sales in Oregon and, therefore, had no need to establish a partner within the state. As Videx observed Inflection Design's energy and capability to serve the market in Oregon and around North America, they decided to change the sales model in the region. In what amounts to a remarkable compliment in business, they stepped back from their successful sales process in the local market to offer a full sales partnership position to Inflection Design.

With the honor of this position came access to the Videx proprietary code bases for integration and extension (excluding, of course, encryption and security algorithms), development partnership, buying position, and the obligation for service of resellers and their customer success as well as our own. We have embraced and fulfilled the opportunity as well as the expectations and confidence of Videx.

inflection_icon125x125.jpgInflection Design is composed of 7 principle owners who are committed contributors to the business model. Conservative and dedicated, Inflection Design is internally financed and debt free. Inflection Design has a 7 year history of determination to grow and evolve toward success and progress pointing to a full, dynamic, and engaging future.

Highlights from our integration and development commitments: We are currently involved in integration of CyberLocks with the Wells Fargo's time in attendance and accounting package. Working in the vending industry on an integration of Cyberlocks with MEI EASITRAX™ to deliver control and audit to Mobile teams and developing a custom Cyberlock interface and reporting package for a customer of Bramell Systems, Canada.

Oregon Association of Chiefs of Police Conference
Inflection Design joined several other vendors at the Oregon Association of Chief's of Police Conference held at Eagle Crest in Redmond, Oregon. We were able to feature our installation of the CyberLock Access Control System at our local Philomath Police Department.  thumb_oacp booth.jpgThe system is ideal for evidence rooms as an audit trail is recorded for all access activity at the lock. There is no longer a need to keep a key in a safety deposit box to record when access is made by someone other than the evidence officer. An audit report can be run at any time to view all access activities to the evidence room. Further extension of this technology would include special lockers inside the evidence room for money, drugs, and weapons. Access to these lockers could further extend security by requiring more than one key for access.
This installation also includes the equipment room, with a weapons cabinet within the room that is padlocked with a CyberLock padlock. A CyberLock is used at the front entrance to allow access to the public conference room that is located outside the locked facility. The community can reserve the room for meetings and a key is issued to them that is only programmed for the hours of use. After that, the key expires and will no longer operate the lock. This way, the officers can stay out on the street and not have to be called in to open the facility. It provides great flexibility.
Inflection Design hopes to extend this technology to other law enforcement agencies throughout the state.
